Account Manager

General Description:

Account managers are responsible for supporting clients at every stage.

Account Managers provide support for the integration of new clients, presales and have continuing responsibility for clients when they are operating.

Primary Responsibilities include the successful and prompt integration of the ETAdirect service into the client's daily delivery management process.

Management of the ongoing day to day relationship with the client. This will require travel to client sites and commitment during hours that are critical to client operations.

On an ongoing basis, ensure client satisfaction by providing first-line support for all client issues.

The Account Manager will work to resolve issues independently or with the second-line support of project managers and the technology team, as required, and maintain a record of all issues and their resolution. As well, the Account Manager will prepare the periodic reports and analysis that are part of the service offering and may support the project managers in their pre-sales efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of operating experience in logistics with experience in client support a definite asset.
  • Strong, hands-on technical experience with data manipulation, Web applications and cellular technology
  • Excellent interpersonal and people skills, effective organizational skills and a strong, self-motivated work ethic
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to work in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to respond effectively and urgently to multiple issues
  • Competence with Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency in Access and Excel
  • Excellent listening skills, ability to assess priorities and communicate issues
  • Post-graduate degree a plus
