Yuval Brisker — President & Chief Executive Officer

Co-founder of TOA Technologies, Yuval Brisker is a passionate customer service advocate and the thought leader behind TOA’s unique customer interaction management solution. With Irad Carmi, Mr. Brisker envisioned a solution for the infamous problem of customers “waiting for the cable guy.” Before founding TOA, Mr. Brisker had extensive experience growing and managing various technology related ventures at MaxBill Inc., an international telecom billing software vendor in Israel; and Visual Information in New York. Before founding Visual Information, Mr. Brisker practiced architecture in New York City with HOK. Mr. Brisker has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Pratt Institute, a BS in Environmental Design from Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem, and is completing an MA in Film Studies from New York University.

Irad Carmi — President & Chief Technology Officer

Co-founder of TOA Technologies, Irad Carmi is the architect and visionary behind TOA’s self-learning predictive engine. An avid early adopter and Renaissance man, Mr. Carmi has taken Software-a- a-Service (SaaS) to a new level by introducing it to enterprise-grade companies with mission-critical functions. He has twelve years experience designing and implementing SaaS solutions in a broad range of roles and environments. Prior to founding TOA with Yuval Brisker, Mr. Carmi was a Systems Architect at MaxBill Inc., an international Telecom Billing software vendor based in Israel. An accomplished professional classical musician before becoming a programmer, Mr. Carmi has performed as principal flutist with orchestras worldwide. Mr. Carmi has a Masters of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and has recorded and appeared live at Carnegie Hall as well as throughout North America, Europe and Israel.

Andrew Elman — Investment Banker

Andrew has worked for over 25 years in the international financial markets, and is managing director of LCF Edmond de Rothschild Securities London, part of the Geneva based Banque Privee Edmond de Rothschild Group. He has been involved with TOA Technologies since 2004.

Jonathan P. Murray — Managing Director, Early Stage Partners

Mr. Murray has followed a bumblebee’s path through American business. After graduating in 1980 from George Washington University, where he double-majored in Biology and English Literature, he worked in medical journalism in Washington, D.C. for a subsidiary of Capital Cities/ABC. An interest in business led him away from the Nation’s Capital and its concerns to New York, where he worked in pharmaceutical marketing for J. Walter Thompson. This job exposed him to corporate strategy, which became an enduring fascination that spurred him to return to school for an MBA, which he received from the University of Michigan in 1988. Mr. Murray has been Managing Director of Early Stage Partners since the autumn of 2000. The fund focuses on investing in early stage technology-based companies in industries in which Northeast Ohio has distinctive competence.

Andy Sheehan — Sutter Hill Ventures, Managing Director

Andy currently is a director of Buzz Media, Inc., Global Liquid Markets, LLC, TOA Technologies, and Yext, Inc. His prior directorships have included, @Road (acquired by Trimble), AllBusiness.com, BakBone Software, Datran Media, Intermix Media and Myspace (acquired by News Corp.) and ReachLocal. Andy joined the firm in 2007 from VantagePoint Venture Partners, where he was a managing director. Previously, he worked at Alex. Brown & Sons and ABS Capital Partners.

Andy received his BA from Dartmouth College with a degree in English. He earned his MBA in 1985 from the Wharton School.

Mike Stubler — Draper Triangle Ventures, Managing Director

Mike is a Managing Director and co-founder of Draper Triangle Ventures, a network partner of Draper Fisher Jurvertson. He has over 25 years of experience with start-up technology companies both as a co-founder and early stage investor. Mike currently serves on the boards of Ayalogic, Unitask, TOA Technologies and ClearCount Medical Solutions. Mike previously directed the Fund’s investments in ClubCom (acquired by Amer Sports), Active Media (acquired by Precor), Renal Solutions (acquired by Fresenius, NYSE: FMS) and New Media (acquired by Zoom Media). Mike is a Director and President of the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association and a Director of the Ohio Venture Association.
