System Analyst
The System Analyst (SA) will work on-site, and remotely, with the
customers' system management engineers to define both business and
system requirements for successful deployment of TOA's software and
services. This individual must have a strong business operations
background, be a highly motivated self-starter, customer-focused,
able to work quickly and effectively, with good problem-solving
skills, to meet predetermined timelines.
The System Analyst will:
- Be responsible for analyzing the customer's business needs and
back-office IT environment and translate that in-depth research
into clearly defined and detailed technical requirements. The
analysis and resulting documents will serve as a roadmap and a
set of instructions for the software implementation group to
produce accurate, responsive and reliable SaaS web-based
solutions.
- Lead system/service implementation including: User Acceptance Tests,
system installation, new configurations, maintenance, and
customer support.
- Work in a global environment and coordinate tasks and activities
with company's project managers.
Requirements:
- Strong business and technical experience essential.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering,
Business (with a strong IT background), Industrial Engineering
(with a strong IT background), or other related degrees.
- At least 3 years demonstrated experience as a System Analyst,
preferably working with billing systems for telecom/cable
companies, customer relationship management software, or in
the workforce management industry.
- Must be proficient in English. Demonstrated verbal and written
proficiency in an EU language is a plus, particularly Dutch,
German, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Hungarian,
Romanian, Polish, or Czech.
Successful candidates will have:
- Outstanding analytical skills and excellent communications skills
(both oral and written). English fluency is a must.
- Demonstrated the ability to be a self-starter and work independently
and creatively while meeting deadlines.
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
in a fast-paced customer-driven environment.
- Good knowledge of Project Management practices.
- Experience working with Tier-1 customers.
- Enthusiasm, sincerity and passion about serving the customer.
- A high sense of time, urgency and motivation to get the job done.
- The utmost integrity, honesty and confidentiality in all matters
pertaining to the conduct of business operations.
Travel requirements: 50% travel; must have and maintain
an active passport and be willing to travel outside the U.S. to the
European union.
